Apple unveiled “all new products from the top down” during their Special Event keynote last Tuesday. The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 5, Apple Arcade, a new iPad with a larger screen, and Apple TV+ were amongst the announcements. Apple also announced price drops for some existing products including the Apple Watch Series 3.
iPhone 11
Just the right amount of everything.
Apple unveiled the iPhone 11 with features such as dual-cameras and new colors. The iPhone 11 will also include the fastest chip ever in a smartphone, toughest glass in a smartphone, all‑day battery life, and the highest‑quality video in a smartphone. The iPhone 11 is set to be released on September 20 with preorder starting September 13.
Confirmed features include:
- IP68 water and dust resistance means the iPhone 11 can withstand being submerged
- All-day battery life means up to 17 hours of video, 10 hours of streaming video, and 65 hours of audio.
- Faster Gigabit-class LTE
- WiFi 6 enabled
- Next-generation Smart HDR

iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max
And then there was Pro.
Apple unveiled iPhone 11 Pro with two sizes, three cameras, and four finishes. Apple is promoting this latest addition to the product family as “the first iPhone powerful enough to be called Pro.” The device will include a triple‑camera system, super Retina xDR screen, leap in battery life, and a new A13 chip that “doubles down on machine learning and pushes the boundaries of what a smartphone can do.”

New iPad

Apple unveiled a new iPad that will feature a larger 10.2-inch Retina display, support for the full-size Smart Keyboard, and new capabilities of iPadOS. Apple says the new device is “like a computer” and “unlike any computer” because it combines the power and capability of a computer with the ease of use and versatility you’d never expect from one.
Apple Watch Series 5
Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Series 5 with an always-on retina display and the ability to pair any case and band in the series. The new Watch will include apps to monitor noise decibels, check your heart rhythm, monitor your menstrual cycle, meet your fitness goals, and more.
