The new Apps interoperate with a new version 4.3 of MacPractice MD, DDS, DC and 20/20 desktop practice management and clinical software.
MacPractice supports 30,000 users in 26 countries, and for the first time international clients can join US clients in using MacPractice Clipboard App and MacPractice iEHR App on iPads interoperating with MacPractice MD, DDS, DC and 20/20 for Mac.
Clipboard and iEHR users can now print directly from their iPad. A Yes/No template element has been added for use in iEHR. And in response to requests by many users, MacPractice has added the capability in Clipboard for offices to incorporate multiple consent forms for the patient to review and sign.
MacPractice Clipboard streamlines patient registration. The MacPractice Patient Check In App automates check-in procedures and helps ensure HIPAA compliance. A new version of Patient Check In that is for use with MacPractice 4.2 and 4.3 is on the App Store as well. Both Apps leverage the efficiency and ease of use of Apple's innovative iPad and iPad mini to eliminate the use of paper and redundant data entry by patients and staff, to save time as well as to eliminate data entry errors.
