MacPractice Releases 4.2.3 Adding New Features and Enhancing Interoperability

Lincoln, NE, November 19, 2012 - MacPractice, the leading Apple developer of practice management and clinical software for doctors' offices who use Macs, iPhones, and iPads, today announced the release of MacPractice MD, DDS, DC, and 20/20 version 4.2.3 with numerous functionality enhancements.

MacPractice 4.2.3 provides compatibility with Lion and Mountain Lion, and Apple's revolutionary 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

"MacPractice 4.2 communicates with MacPractice Interface for iPad with ePrescribe and MacPractice Interface for iPhone. A new MacPractice MD, DDS, DC and 20/20 Clipboard App for iPad for 4.2 with enhanced features will work with MacPractice 4.2 along with some other exciting new Apps for iPad made possible by new capabilities built into 4.2," said Mark Hollis, CEO of MacPractice.

MacPractice 4.2.3 includes many updated reports, lab, ePrescribe and MacPractice EMR functionalities that enhance the ability of MacPractice users to demonstrate Meaningful Use.

Numerous new features and tweaks improve MacPractice DR (Digital Radiography), further secure MacPractice data and enhance interoperability with other products and services.

MacPractice 4.2.3 is available to all current MacPractice clients upon request, at no additional cost and supports any network configuration of Macs running Mountain Lion and/or Lion. MacPractice 4.2 is not supported on earlier versions of Mac OS. Before upgrading, MacPractice users are advised to review Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8 system requirements.

MacPractice will continue to support MacPractice 4.1.x for its clients who use Mac OS 10.5 - 10.7. MacPractice also will continue to support clients using earlier versions of MacPractice.
