MacPractice Updates Doctors' Software Making it Compatible with Apple's New Technologies
Lincoln, NE, September 11, 2012 - MacPractice, the leading Apple developer of practice management and clinical software for doctors' offices who use Macs, iPhones, and iPads, today announces the release of MacPractice MD, DDS, DC, and 20/20 version 4.2 providing compatibility with Mountain Lion, Apple's newest operating system for Macs, and Apple's revolutionary 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display, announced at Apple's World Wide Developer Conference in June. "We know that many of the 30,000 users of MacPractice software, as well as prospective users, want to adopt Apple's latest and greatest technologies because of Apple's stellar reputation, and we want to make that possible for them" said Mark Hollis, CEO of MacPractice. "MacPractice 4.2 communicates with MacPractice Interface for iPad with ePrescribe and MacPractice Interface for iPhone. New MacPractice MD, DDS, DC and 20/20 Clipboard App for iPad for 4.2 with enhanced features are soon to be announced as well as some other exciting new Apps for iPad made possible by new capabilities built into 4.2."
MacPractice 4.2 is available to all current MacPractice clients upon request, at no additional cost and supports any network configuration of Macs running Mountain Lion and/or Lion. MacPractice 4.2 is not supported on earlier Mac OS versions. Before upgrading, MacPractice users are advised to review Mac OS 10.7 and 10.8 system requirements.
MacPractice will continue to support MacPractice 4.1.x for its clients who use Mac OS 10.5 - 10.7. MacPractice also will continue to support clients using earlier versions of MacPractice.
