MacPractice Update Provides Live Chat Support and CMS 02/12 Form

All Versions Add Live Chat Support, MacPractice 4.4 Fully Completes CMS 1500

March 24, 2014, Lincoln, NE - MacPractice provided a free update last week to all MacPractice MD, DC, DDS and 20/20 users who are required by Medicare to use the CMS 1500 (02/12) printed claim form. As of April 1, CMS will reject printed claims not received on the new form. MacPractice also introduced Live Chat to augment its stellar support by telephone and remote access. MacPractice is the leading Apple developer of OS X and iOS native software for doctors who prefer to use Macs, iPads, and iPhones.

MacPractice users who submit medical claims electronically have been using the 5010 format since 2012 when it was first required. The 5010 and CMS 1500 (02/12) paper form both support ICD-10, which will be required October 1, 2014.
